The APR Carbon Fiber Intake System is an attractive high-performance upgrade designed to increase performance by letting the engine breathe more freely.

The factory intake design has the foundation for excellent performance, but much of this is sacrificed in an effort to meet other design requirements. With requirements set forth for only supporting factory power output levels, low engine sound levels and long service intervals, there is plenty of room for improvement.

The APR Carbon Fiber Intake System increases performance primarily by improving mass airflow through the system while still proving adequate filtration. Expect greater horsepower and torque through the power band with a more direct and responsive feel upon pressing the throttle. Sounds from the engine are enhanced and some may even experience better fuel economy depending on driving style.

Non Collapsible Design

During APR's S5 4.2L FSI V8 Stage III Supercharger development, APR's Engineering Teams quickly realized the factory intake system was not suitable for the significantly increased demands set by the APR Supercharger unit. The factory rubber intake plenum would collapse under boost and rob the engine of precious airflow. In some cases, the factory rubber intake plenum would completely detach and seal off the intake system! Thankfully APR's intake system does not suffer this design characteristic making this intake system suitable for even the most demanding horsepower requirements!

Smooth and Direct Air Flow

The OEM intake system vents some of the incoming air into the engine bay and takes several twists and turns before the air ever reaches the engine. The intake system simplifies the intake system by directing all incoming air directly at the filter. This allows for faster throttle response and increased torque at all RPM's.

Returns Policy

Returns are accepted within 15 days of delivery date. Items are not eligible for return if they are: used, altered, damaged, or not in original packaging. All returns are subject to a 20% fee. Special orders are non-refundable. No refunds on electrical parts. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Part warranties are through the manufacturer only, not Automotive Performance Tuning, LLC(APTuning). Customer is responsible for any applicable labor charges on warranted parts.
