APTuning's 4 bar map sensor kit for MQB applications is plug-n-play for all Gen3 2.0T TSI applications, such as GTI, Golf R, A3, S3, TT, TTS, etc. This is needed for cars looking to run more boost then the stock sensor limit of roughly 29psi, for big turbo applications it is a must for making peak power.

The kit comes with 2 Bosch sensors as well as the adapter harness for the sensor plug on the intake manifold. The sensor for the manifold is already modified to fit like OEM, no extra brackets needed, just clip it in.

We only use genuine Bosch sensors for our kit. Be cautious of cheap knock-off map sensors. It is a known issue with them reading incorrectly and/or leaking.

*Note: The car must be tuned properly to match the map sensors or it will not run correctly. Even with tuning some manual transmission cars make experience intermittent light load hiccup as these sensors do not read as low(vacuum) as stock

*Note: You must lightly trim the around the corner mounting tab on the manifold for sensor fitment. We prefer to do it this way as it makes sure the sensor fits snug. This can be accomplished simply with a fresh razor blade. See image below

Returns Policy

Returns are accepted within 15 days of delivery date. Items are not eligible for return if they are: used, altered, damaged, or not in original packaging. All returns are subject to a 20% fee. Special orders are non-refundable. No refunds on electrical parts. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Part warranties are through the manufacturer only, not Automotive Performance Tuning, LLC(APTuning). Customer is responsible for any applicable labor charges on warranted parts.

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
